The new Dandelion Language Book conveys learning content in a context-based and systematic manner. It is aligned with the school year. The chapter topics are interdisciplinary and coordinated with the reading book and the subject lessons. The language book is clearly structured: each chapter consists of a thematic area, a linguistic-systematic area, a practice area, and a reflection and review area. In the thematic area, the competencies of speaking and listening, learning to learn, writing correctly, examining language, and composing texts are introduced and connected with topics from the subject lessons and the children's world of experiences. In the subsequent systematic area, these competencies are deepened. Competency-oriented headings and a clear color coding system provide clear guidance.
