The process theologian Charles Hartshorne (1897-2000) is considered one of the most significant representatives of Anglo-Saxon religious philosophy in the 20th century. For the first time, his thinking is comprehensively explored, analyzed, and interpreted in both a sympathetic and critical manner in the German-speaking world. Julia Enxing demonstrates that Hartshorne's concept of God can be reconciled with both reason and experience. It is precisely because of God's relational capacity and the accompanying flexibility that the God-world relationship is stable, and such an understanding of a faithful God is a cause for hope.
