Only a few services throughout the year have such an appeal to the faithful as these Advent celebrations. Beyond candlelight and familiar songs, they aim to provide access to the mystery of God's coming into our world through their texts. Staff members from the liturgy department have developed concrete suggestions and models for Rorate services as Mass, Word of God celebrations, or daily liturgy, based on various images and themes from the scripture readings of these days. They draw on the traditional Marian themes of these celebrations and bring the Advent message to life anew, including texts for reflection, new songs, and hymns.
