The use of simulation in production and logistics has been part of the daily business in many companies for years. However, strategic and sustainable management requires the execution of demonstrably high-quality simulation studies. The ASIM working group 'Simulation in Production and Logistics' has therefore developed representative, practical quality criteria for simulation projects. The application- and tool-independent criteria serve as a guide during the proposal phase, the execution of the study, and for the use of models and results after the project has concluded. The book primarily targets readers from the industry who conduct or commission simulation studies. It provides clients and service providers with guidelines and checklists for quality assurance when commissioning and conducting simulation studies. Additionally, it serves as an essential foundation for the practical design and deepening of courses.
