Sandra Giraudi and Felix Wettstein, an architectural couple from Lugano, gained recognition with a residential building in Cadro (1997), the laboratory building on the university campus in Lugano (2002), and the new pedestrian bridge at Basel station (2003, in collaboration with Cruz-Ortis, Seville). Sharply defined, finely modulated structures connect respectfully yet distinctly with the existing environment.
