This identification work, consisting of two independently usable volumes, sets new standards by providing three different methods for precise identification. The key volume allows for the systematic and immediate identification of all 660 Central European bird species, including age and sex. The image atlas presents 647 species occurring in Central Europe in systematic order through over 1,750 brilliant photos, including different plumages where necessary. An included quick access feature, structured around easily recognizable characteristics, leads directly to the families. Thus, the image atlas can also be used as a standalone photo identification book for accurate identification. These unique books in terms of content and design meet the highest professional standards while also guiding beginners effortlessly to the correct species.
