This could be the waste toner box. Take out the toner and then on the far left there is a small container (you can pull it out). Empty it (be careful, it is very dusty). Put it back in and it should fit. I can give you the following tip:

Samsung CLT-K406S (Black, original product, toner) I'd say it's this one.
As far as I know, the toner level of a cartridge is stored in the cartridge itself. I would say it is the toner itself and not the printer.
