Product details
The Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) addresses influences that affect minors. The age restrictions are based on the typical developmental stage. The JuSchG distinguishes between children and adolescents. Unlike in criminal proceedings, the term "young adult" is not relevant for youth protection, as these individuals have reached the age of eighteen and are therefore considered adults. The provisions for the protection of youth are not punitive measures against young people but are primarily directed at adults, supporting parents and other educators in their educational responsibilities. The practical presentation focuses mainly on areas particularly relevant to police work, covering fundamental concepts of the Youth Protection Act and issues of youth protection in public spaces.
