Product details

Please note that the content of this book mainly consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free online sources. The Radical Socialist Party Camille Pelletan was a social-liberal party in France, founded in 1934 at the congress of the Radical Socialist Party in Clermont-Ferrand, in response to the involvement of the Radicals in the right-wing cabinet of Gaston Doumergue. The PRS-CP was led by Gabriel Cudenet but never achieved lasting success. In fact, only three parliamentarians in the 16th legislature (1936-1940) identified with the PRS-CP. Most members rejoined the Radical Party after the war. Social liberalism is the belief that liberalism should include social justice. It differs from classical liberalism by asserting that a liberal state should provide jobs, healthcare, and education while simultaneously expanding civil rights. Within the framework of social liberalism, the well-being of the community is emphasized.
