The Rilke Chronicle has been an indispensable tool for anyone who wants to delve deeper into the life and work of Rainer Maria Rilke for over thirty years; it is the definitive standard work on Rilke. It is now being released in a revised and significantly expanded edition. Day by day, the close connections between Rilke's life and work are revealed; it is easy to trace where Rilke was at any given time, whom he met, and when each work was created.
