The revised edition of the textbook "Space - Time - Society" for grades 7/8 consistently implements the new framework curriculum for social studies. The examination of the curriculum topics is further developed in this new edition through a consistently integrative and multiperspective approach. In this sense, the textbook brings together political, social, temporal, spatial, and economic perspectives. It connects the subject-specific aspects with methodological-strategic and social-communicative approaches to the topics of the curriculum tables, following the guidelines of the framework curriculum. The three competency areas of the framework curriculum (acquiring knowledge; acting with knowledge; evaluating, judging, and reflecting with knowledge) are consistently supported through tasks with appropriate operators.
