In the summer of 2014, Marlies and Detlef Buchholz fulfill their long-held dream and travel with their own boat from Plau am See in Mecklenburg through rivers and canals across Germany, through the Netherlands, Belgium, and France to Paris, and further into Burgundy. The return journey takes them through the Vosges and Ardennes, up to the north of the Netherlands, and back across Germany via Berlin to Mecklenburg. They share their many experiences and lock adventures, offering tips and advice not only for water sports enthusiasts.
