Target audience: Learners at adult education centers, private language schools, universities, and companies whose French instruction has been a while ago. Rebonjour is aimed at (false) beginners whose acquired language skills have been dormant for some time and need to be partially reacquired. With its flexible structure and optional sections (Rendez-vous Pro: work-related topics and Plaisir de lire: additional reading texts), the textbook can be optimally adapted to different course types and interests. In a deliberately concise and simple manner, all essential vocabulary and grammar topics are reactivated. The learning grammar in the appendix allows for supplementary, independent grammar work by the learners, relieving the classroom instruction. Rebonjour is currently the only refresher course at this level - a volume that covers levels A1 and A2.
