Music is one of the most important media through which the extreme right establishes and maintains contact with youth subcultures. In this volume, experts from various fields examine the far-right music scene in Germany, focusing particularly on examples from the state of Brandenburg. Additionally, the development since the early 1990s is presented as part of the history of the social movement of the extreme right. Since then, a social environment has emerged to which many neo-Nazis remain connected well into adulthood. The volume is divided into three sections: the chapter "Analyses" provides overarching societal classifications, the chapter "Case Studies" highlights selected aspects, and the chapter "Counterstrategies" discusses political, social, and state measures. The book aims to raise awareness of the topic among a broader public.
