Content and Concept: To write good exams and papers, it is usually not enough to simply learn substantive law and acquire the techniques of legal writing through exam courses and case training. This textbook provides additional "tools" as a further supplement to the studies, along with a bit of legal "general education," by engaging in considerations about the subject of study, illustrated with numerous examples. Following a theoretical introduction that highlights the peculiarities of legal science compared to other disciplines, Part I presents the most important drafts and concepts of norm logic. This primarily includes the classical doctrine of norms, facts, legal consequences, and the legal system as a hierarchical structure. Part II contains a simplified methodology: Using current examples, the fundamental methods of legal work are explained.
