Product details
Kurt Flasch's representation of medieval philosophy was first published in 1986. His comprehensive introduction stays close to the texts, presenting individual philosophers and important works, and develops a broad panorama of medieval thought up to the 15th century. It has since become a standard work. For the third edition in 2013, the author completely revised the volume, updated it to the latest research, and added three new chapters. This edition, previously available only as a hardcover, is now also available in the Universal Library.
