Product details
Baudelaire's "The Flowers of Evil" (Original: "Fleurs du Mal"), first published in June 1857, marks the beginning of modern poetry. The translation by Monika Fahrenbach-Wachendorff, a rhymed verse adaptation, aims to accurately convey Baudelaire's text, particularly its imagery, while preserving the density and intensity of the original. It was first published in 1980 by Reclam and has been completely revised for this edition and for the new release in the Reclam Library.
