The edition of the religious text presented here is a complete new edition based on the B edition from 1794. This edition records the pagination of the B edition and the Academy edition, as well as the most important variants from the A edition and manuscripts, conjectures, and text revisions, along with significant readings from earlier editions. The focus of the edition, in addition to providing a reliable text, is on demonstrating historical references. Alongside an introduction, information on the history of the text, the censorship dispute, and contemporary reception, as well as notes on text interpretation and source material, it includes new subject and name indexes, as well as an extensive index of biblical passages directly and indirectly cited by Kant.
