The most famous book in the German language, the Children's and Household Tales of the Brothers Grimm, was created over a long process spanning several decades and exists in very different versions. This edition uniquely offers the original version based on the manuscript from 1810, a foundational collection of 63 fairy tales, still somewhat rough and unrefined, without the later artistic embellishments.
