The megachurch Lakewood Church in Texas and the Creation Museum in Kentucky are among the most significant evangelical organizations in the USA. The authors demonstrate that religions bind their followers not only through religious teachings but primarily through sensory experiences. What are the reasons for the dynamic innovation of religious organizations in the USA? Under the term modern religious experiential worlds, Lakewood Church, housed in a former basketball arena and equipped with 16,800 seats, as well as the Creation Museum, where the biblical creation story becomes a multimedia religious experience, are described and analyzed. The examples presented here are suitable for revising the outdated assumption that religion is merely a serious matter. "Have fun and prepare to believe" becomes the motto.
