Transpersonal and esoteric psychology have been able to demonstrate, through numerous case studies over the past twenty years, the extent to which traumatic experiences from previous earthly lives influence current illnesses or emotional distress. Psychologist Ulrike Vinmann has been able to help people in her psychotherapeutic practice for many years by providing them access to the spiritual and psychological backgrounds of their complaints. Based on these insights, she gained an understanding of recurring patterns of emotional injuries and how they can be healed. Her experiences range from cases of sexual abuse to traumatic war memories, as well as relationship problems and hyperactive children.
