The standard test for family relationships is now in its 9th edition. The Family Relationship Test (F. B. T.) is a classic among projective testing methods. It consists of a series of ambiguous images depicting family situations. How people describe these images is significantly influenced by their own family situation. This allows the test to provide insight into the different forms of relationships between family members. With its help, it is possible to decipher the feelings and attitudes of individual family members and how they subjectively perceive family constellations. The test is suitable for both children and adults.
