For over 80 years, therapeutic educational work has been carried out based on the epistemological methods of Rudolf Steiner. What began as work with children and adolescents with intellectual and learning disabilities in Europe has developed into a global movement with over 600 institutions in recent decades, encompassing all areas of social work. This compendium provides an overview of this work, presenting and critically examining the foundational principles of knowledge as well as describing the fields of work and methods of action. Anthroposophical therapeutic education is thus comprehensively presented in a consolidated form.
