Learning to read and write can be a significant hurdle for some children in special and elementary schools. The acquisition of written language can be intensively supported through the use of sound gestures—not only at schools focused on intellectual development. The authors present how this can be achieved in a playful manner using open teaching methods in this book. The independent and tested sound gesture system is systematically presented and justified. Practical suggestions, along with around 200 copy and material templates on CD-ROM, complete the offering.
