Author Information Wladimir Lindenberg (born 1902 in Moscow, died 1997 in Berlin). As a child, he was called "Bobik," later "Wolodja" (Wladimir). After the revolution in 1918, he left his Russian homeland. He studied medicine and psychology in Bonn, worked as a ship's doctor in Africa and South America in 1930, and subsequently served as a doctor at the Institute for Clinical Psychology and at the hospital for brain injuries in Bonn. From 1937 to 1940, Lindenberg endured difficult years in a labor camp. Later, he practiced as a neurologist at the Evangelical Forest Hospital in Berlin.
