Music influences our emotions, our perception, and also our behavior. The effects of music in general, as well as in the promotion and therapy of speech and communication disorders, have been investigated in various studies in recent years. This book presents the current state of research on the transfer effects of music on language. It illustrates the possibilities and limitations of music therapy interventions and relates music-specific findings to etiology and symptomatology, as well as to the speech therapy approach for various speech, language, and communication disorders.
