Abstract: Notes: This is an extended term paper written as part of three accompanying seminars. It required conducting a study in the form of surveys. The topic of this paper encompasses many aspects: 1. Experience society in relation to services 2. Financing of events and festivals 3. Volunteering and the motivation of volunteers. This topic was supported by a survey of volunteers at a festival.

1. Introduction: We live in a society focused on fun and experiences, where individuals seek self-actualization. The cultural market and the entertainment industry, which constitute a large part of the service sector, offer opportunities to experience something. Whether in the form of events, exhibitions, leisure, animal, or recreational parks that one visits, or in which one participates professionally or as a volunteer, either as an organizer or as a volunteer helper.

This study examines the importance of volunteers in financing cultural institutions, using music festivals as an example. Especially today, as public funds become increasingly scarce, the survival of many events is at stake. Other financing options must be found and utilized, and costs must be kept low. In this context, individuals who work without compensation play a significant role. The question is why these people engage under such conditions. The author's claim is that they do it for the joy of the activity itself. They do it not only to do good for society but because they identify with the project. But how long will they continue to do this? As long as they are satisfied!.
