Ralph Azham has succeeded in restoring his sister Rose's memory and leaving Astolia safely. However, even though his adventure may have ended well, as long as the sinister Malek is after the crown, Ralph, his family, and friends are not safe. To drive the throne usurper away, Ralph comes up with a plan that is both simple and risky: he intends to ally himself with the arch-villain Vom Syrius. Lewis Trondheim continues the second Ralph Azham cycle just as he began the first: with the same verve, humor, and overflowing imagination for which he is known.
