Check, optimize, produce. The customized formulation is a central component of patient-specific therapy. Finding the appropriate, effective formulation that meets the highest quality standards presents a complex challenge for the prescribing physician and the compounding pharmacy. Each of the 20 chapters of the book addresses a potential problem on the path to the optimal preparation. Starting from the critical point, various courses of action are presented. Examples illustrate how a problematic prescription can be transformed into a plausible formulation. Photos specifically created for this work demonstrate the difference between incompatible and optimized formulations. Practical aids at the end of each chapter facilitate the application of the various solution proposals to nearly any prescription and drastically reduce the research effort.
