With the insolvency law reform through the ESUG, the insolvency plan procedure has become a central restructuring tool. It is therefore crucial for those working in insolvency law to master this approach confidently. This work conveys the fundamentals of the plan procedure and thoroughly explains its content and structure, as well as the judicial processes involved. It highlights, among other things, when the insolvency plan is appropriate, what typical application cases exist, and what preparations need to be made. The work considers the various perspectives of the stakeholders (creditors, debtors, investors) and is oriented towards practical interests. Legal questions are discussed based on existing case law, and tactical advice, example cases, and formulation suggestions complete the presentation.
