He is a phenomenon - in just over fifty years, Rick Master has solved more than seventy tricky criminal cases and has also made a number of brief appearances. This is an impressive record for a reporter and amateur detective, especially since he could always rely on the support of the experienced Commissioner Bourdon (and vice versa). Often, his investigations dealt with seemingly inexplicable or supernatural occurrences - yet with unwavering persistence, he was always able to expose them as crimes.
