This book aims to make the complex and complicated subject behind the simple buzzword "electrosmog" understandable to laypeople, without sacrificing scientific rigor. The search for answers regarding how electromagnetic fields affect health and the environment raises questions in the fields of physics, medicine, and engineering; the inquiry into how potential dangers can be contained adds a political and legal dimension. Unfortunately, most experts are only specialists in a (small) area. Therefore, it may not be entirely unreasonable to hope that this book will also engage scientists, doctors, engineers, and students, encouraging them to engage in a broad professional discussion about the issue of electrosmog.
