Julia Drews examines the significance of risk and crisis communication within German authorities. She analyzes journalists' expectations regarding these communication processes and to what extent authorities meet these expectations. The topic is explored through the example of critical infrastructure in food supply. To address the research questions arising from the theory, the author employs a scenario-based mixed-method design with four individual empirical studies.
