For the first time, a volume brings together the extensive work of Rita De Muynck, which navigates the interplay of self-induced trance, emotional reality, and free color design. Time and again, the painter embarks on inner search processes, aiming to connect the senses and painting existential experiences. In addition, sculptures and installations emerge that, often with a touch of humor, reflect the present. De Muynck was born in Ghent, Belgium, currently lives in Munich, and has her studio in the foothills of the Alps. Her works and performances have been showcased in cities including Munich, Vienna, Budapest, and Paris.
