Alexandra Gregus won the 9th season of the TV weight loss show The Biggest Loser in the spring of 2017. This is noteworthy for two reasons: she is the first female winner and also the one with the highest weight loss to date, achieving a reduction of 51.4 percent of her body weight. Gregus was slightly overweight as a child. She went through numerous diets and experienced the yo-yo effect repeatedly until she finally participated in The Biggest Loser, halved her weight, and has since maintained it. In her book, she explains how she accomplished this, what she focused on in her diet, and how much exercise has helped her - she even works as a trainer now. With her story, she motivates those looking to lose weight to follow her example and finally achieve lasting weight loss.
