The aim of the book is to perceive the robot as a learning system, to conceptualize it as a knowledge-based model system, and to implement this system functionally through intelligent, computer-based technologies. The goal of this approach is to increase the systemic intelligence quotient (sIQ). This objective is achievable through modeling based on cognitive theory and the concrete (re)implementation of these models using Cognitive Computing technologies in the Java programming language.
