With this edition, RONDO 5/6 undergoes a comprehensive revision. Action-oriented music education once again plays an important role: students become active participants. Songs from various thematic areas, accompanying phrases, musical pieces from classical, jazz, and pop to rap, dances, and movement activities are included. Through collective music-making, dancing, experimenting, and producing, a sense of community is fostered, imagination and creativity are stimulated, language skills are enhanced through supportive pre-teaching, and knowledge about processes and forms in music is expanded. In addition to a rich selection of songs, students are introduced to different eras and genres of music through diverse illustrations, informational texts, and audio examples. Topics such as composers, musical instruments, and music theory are also covered.
