Summer in Berlin - and actually, Katja and Sebastian would have preferred to stay in bed on this Saturday morning. Finally getting to sleep in again, finally living into the day. But the weekend is, like so much in the lives of the architect couple, planned out, and they set off to visit friends in Mecklenburg. During the drive, it happens: Sebastian suffers a stroke. A helicopter takes him to the hospital, and intensive care manages to keep Sebastian alive. Soon, however, it becomes clear that he will remain severely mentally disabled. At first, Katja hopes to bring Sebastian back to life with her presence, with her love. But does he even recognize her anymore? Where are the images of memory, the plans for the future, wishes, and dreams? Is this still Sebastian? The book tells the story of Katja's lonely struggle with the limits.
