Product details

No one knows him, and many doubt that he ever existed. But he himself ensured this obscurity: François Genoud, Swiss banker, convinced Nazi, supporter of left-wing terrorism. Who was this man in whom the extremes of the 20th century uniquely intersect? During the Third Reich, Genoud worked for the German secret service and later secured the lucrative rights to the writings of Joseph Goebbels. In the 1950s, he became involved in the Algerian liberation struggle, then turned to the Palestinian terrorist organizations responsible for Entebbe, Mogadishu, and the Munich massacre in 1972. Genoud had no difficulty supporting Wadi Haddad and Carlos in hijackings, assassinations, and extortions, while also aiding war criminals like Adolf Eichmann and Klaus Barbie.
