Product details

Whether in the construction and design of Wewelsburg or the development of the SS Totenkopf ring, Reichsführer SS Heinrich Himmler relied on his personal advisor Karl Maria Wiligut. Who was this runic mystic, astrologer, and SS brigade leader really, who was the head of Prehistory and Early History of the Race and Settlement Office until 1938, before falling out of favor in August 1938? This book is based on personal conversations with contemporaries from Wiligut's immediate circle and is supplemented by correspondence dating back to the 1920s. This years-long labor of love provides valuable insights and attempts to shed light on the darkness of the past. The former SS volunteer and later commander of the New Templar Order, Rudolf Mund, left behind a standard work in 1982 for the study of the occult roots of National Socialism. His long out-of-print biography was the first comprehensive account of the life and work of Karl Maria Wiligut, which all subsequent publications have significantly referenced due to the unique source material.
