Information about the author Heidi Lang moved to the West Coast to pursue her love of judo, but ultimately found a new passion: dogs. She started a dog-walking business in Santa Cruz and has been happily patrolling the trails with her group ever since. When she’s not hiking with her pack, she’s probably writing or getting lost in a good book. But no matter where she is, she’s almost always covered in dog hair. She is the co-author of the upcoming middle-grade fantasy novels "A Dash of Dragon" (Aladdin, July 2017) and "A Hint of Hydra" (Aladdin, Summer 2018), as well as the author of an untitled young adult science fiction novel (Razorbill, Fall 2018).
