Anke Bosse (born 1961 in Hannover) is a German literary scholar. After completing her Abitur, she studied German studies, comparative literature, and Romance studies in Göttingen and Munich. In 1987, she became a research associate at the Institute for Comparative Literature at the University of Munich, and in 1992, she transitioned to the University of Geneva in Switzerland as a research assistant. She earned her doctorate in 1996 with a dissertation on Goethe's West-Eastern Divan. In 1997, she accepted a position as a professor of German studies and comparative literature at the University of Namur in Belgium, a position she holds to this day. In 1998, she became the director of the Institute for German Language and Literature at the University of Namur. She is also a member of numerous committees and boards at the university. Since 2000, she has been a board member of the Belgian Association of Germanists and German Teachers (BGDV). Anke Bosse is the editor-in-chief.
