This new bilingual selection features a poem from 75 poets, presented in the original language and in a close translation by Kay Borowsky. The anthology spans from the 18th century to the very latest times, exemplifying the diversity of lyric poetry, which is among the richest in Europe in terms of its variety of forms. In addition to many great and famous names such as Pushkin, Tyutchev, Blok, Akhmatova, Mandelstam, and Brodsky, all of whom are included, it also aims to spark curiosity about some lesser-known poets.
