The US OSS, "Office of Strategic Services," the predecessor of the CIA during World War II, published two texts in 1943 and 1944: The "Morale Operations Field Manual," intended for OSS officers, meticulously describes how to deconstruct a state. The "Simple Sabotage Field Manual" informed all sympathizers on how they could support the resistance against Hitler with relatively simple means.
