A foundational work for travel and the desk - clearly structured and equipped with extensive maps and plans. It presents the multifaceted cultural heritage landscape of Saxony-Anhalt. With the volume 'Saxony-Anhalt II', which encompasses the administrative districts of Halle and Dessau according to the current administrative division, the first volume of the revised edition of the state of Saxony-Anhalt is now released. Newly included are primarily churches, villas, residential, commercial, and industrial buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as a large number of castles, manor houses, and gardens. The city maps and floor plans have not only been supplemented with essential examples but have been completely redone and updated to the current state. Despite all the innovations, the principle of conciseness in presentation has been maintained. The volume covers one of the most diverse cultural heritage landscapes in Germany.
