I am often asked: Do you also write larger works? No, I reply, only large ones. These large works usually consist of one or two lines and turn the world upside down. Stanislaw Jerzy Lec, the "Lichtenberg of the 20th century," became world-famous as the author of "Unfrisierte Gedanken" (Unvarnished Thoughts). He is the best example that world fame does not always require a voluminous work.
