Until the 1960s, women made of paper played only a secondary role in comics. There were hardly any real heroines - especially not in the magazine Spirou. Natascha, the beautiful and courageous stewardess, brought a breath of fresh air to the magazine and paved the way for other heroines. She liberated Franco-Belgian comics with her sensitivity, vitality, energy, and - not to forget - her sexy curves, which she displayed without any shame.
