The plaster is the dress of the house. This volume presents its various forms as they have been found over the centuries, primarily in the central German region. To preserve the culture of plaster as an essential detail of our built environment, skilled and quality-conscious craftsmen are needed. The book is primarily aimed at them, attempting to provide a guide for the reproduction of different types of plaster. The two authors, master mason Hans Albrecht Gasch and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Glaser, have dedicated significant attention throughout their professional careers to the authentic restoration of historical plasters.
