The authors Ewald Dietrich and Friedrich Reichel present in this historical volume the healing springs and spa towns of the Kingdom of Saxony. Among others, the Augustusbad in Radeberg, the sulfur bath in Marienborn, the healing spring in Gottschdorf, the city bath in Dresden, the fountain bath near the Annenkirche, the healing spring in Tharandt, the Berggiesshübler bath, and the St. Anne's grace fountain are described. The Lincke bath (cover image) was an excursion restaurant with a garden, summer theater, and concert hall in Dresden. At the same time, it was one of the first open-air baths.
