Product details

Friedrich Bernhard Störzner (1861-1933) was a cantor and teacher in Arnsdorf. He authored several local history books. Through numerous hikes, Störzner explored his Saxon homeland, wrote reports, and collected legends and images. He published numerous pamphlets and brochures about the villages around Arnsdorf, wrote countless newspaper articles about the immediate surroundings, and worked on local history topics related to Lusatia, the Elbe Valley, the Ore Mountains, and Thuringia. His most significant work is the present book "What the Homeland Tells" (1904), which is illustrated with drawings by Oskar Seyffert and the painter F. Rowland. It covers West Lusatia, the Radeberg region, Bad Schandau, Sebnitz, and many other places. This is a reprint of the original edition from 1904. We apologize for any potential quality issues that may arise from the reprint.
